#ThisIsHR is a grassroots meetup group, bringing together a community of HR professionals, people leaders and technology startups and scaleups, in order to support and champion how people are managed through technology innovation in London. Our free events bring our community together in order to create discussions, build relationships, and increase the profile of London’s growing HR technology innovation scene.
On November 27th we invite you to join us as we continue our second HR Tech Enterprise Disruption series. Throughout our second series you will hear from:
1. Experienced HR professionals talking about the problems they face from an HR and business perspective, and where they think there are opportunities for smaller tech startups to have an impact on HR delivery
2. HR technology professionals discussing how they build technologies to suit the business and technical requirements of HR customers
3. HR Startup or Scaleup founders discussing their product, journey and challenges

Patrick Caldwell – Fundapps
Pat has a passion for workplace culture, diversity & inclusion and generally rebellious people practices that challenge HR norms and traditions. After spending several years in HR and commercial roles in the Australian mining industry, Pat moved to cloudier pastures in London and is now building People Operations at FundApps, a growing, bootstrapped scale-up in the RegTech industry that is bringing compliance kicking and screaming into the 21st century. FundApps has almost doubled in size over the past twelve months and has team members based in London, New York, Toronto and Auckland.
Piers Bishop – WeThrive
Business psychologist Piers Bishop MA, MABP is co-founder of employee engagement and survey platform WeThrive, where he created the 4Cs model for intelligent performance, making it easy to understand the causes of stress and anxiety in the workplace and the negative effect they have on motivation, engagement and performance. Piers is a Founder and Director of Therapy at PTSD Resolution, a charity which provides counselling for former armed forces, reservists and their families. WeThrive’s unique 4Cs model leverages the latest psychological understanding to quickly deliver insights, actions and learning content that helps managers create a high performance culture and improve results.
Siadhal is the co-founder and CEO of Metaview, a London-based startup focused on speech analytics for job interviews. Siadhal was at Uber – the fastest growing company ever – at a time when it scaled from 7,000 to 16,000 people in just 18 months. He saw first-hand how vital effective interview processes were in building the right team, and also saw that valuable data from within interviews was going uncaptured. Metaview solves this by recording job interviews and providing analytics and insights so that people can become more effective interviewers, and managers can make more informed hiring decisions.
